Anyone who knows my family knows that we love two things: music and Disney. This season will mark our Third Annual Family Trip. We go during this time for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that there is nothing more beautiful than Disney at Christmas. It’s … well … magical.
I want to use these next days to share some of the ways that we’ve made trip planning and trip taking easier.
Today, I want to talk about Message Boards/Forums. There are two that we love – Disboards and WDW Magic. I prefer the Disboards; my husband prefers WDW Magic. See for yourself … they are both great!
There is no question that can not be answered in one of these places – the categories are endless. However, these are my favorites:
1. Welcome to the Dis – This is a good landing spot when you are new. Lots of info is here and easy to navigate through.
2. Disney Trip Reports – This is a remarkable way to see the cool things that other people do while on vacation. It’s hit and miss, but the good ones are REALLY good. My friend Susie is an awesome writer and does AMAZING trip reports – check her out!
3. Disney World Tips – Oh.My.Gosh. From what kind of backpack to bring (I’ll talk more about that later) to how to fold a park map into a harp … You’ll find it there! If you are a tips/tricks junky, you’ll love this spot.
4. Creative DISigns – Scrapbookers, sewers, crafty people – this is your spot. You will be amazed at what people can make. Thanks to the people who share their “how to’s” on here, I’ve made some awesome things for my family to take on trips.
