It’s back! Grand Nationals Bingo is returning for 2026, and I’ve got six brand-new cards ready for you to play!
Back in 2022, I had an idea. What if we turned watching Bands of America Grand Nationals into a giant game of BINGO?
After spending years watching marching band performances, I realized there are certain things you can almost always count on seeing. A drum major running from one podium to another. A color guard member tossing equipment into the abyss at the end of a show. A performer dramatically reaching toward the sky. And, of course, someone doing something that makes you wonder, “How did they even think of that?”
So I created my first Bands of America Grand Nationals Bingo cards.
And they were a hit!
People shared them, downloaded them, and played along while watching some of the best high school marching bands in the country. I brought them back in 2024, and now we’re doing it again for 2026!
What’s New for 2026?
I’ve kept some of my favorite squares from the original cards, but I’ve added plenty of new ones inspired by the things we see on the field year after year.
Some of my favorites this year include:
- Prop dads have matching shirts.
- Someone turns upside down in a prop.
- A rifle catches on a cymbal or triangle ping.
- A performer runs across the entire field.
- Someone plays an instrument while lying down.
- A giant piece of fabric covers the field.
- A plume falls out.
And yes, we’re still looking for those drum majors running between podiums!
Some squares will be easy to find. Others might take the entire weekend. That’s half the fun.

- Print a card or save one to your phone or tablet.
- Watch the performances, either in person at Lucas Oil Stadium or from home on the livestream.
- Mark a square whenever you spot something happening during a performance.
- Get five squares in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and you’ve got BINGO!
The center square is a FREE SPACE, because we all deserve a little help sometimes.
I’ve created six different bingo cards, so grab your friends, family, band parents, or fellow marching arts enthusiasts and see who can get BINGO first.
And if you happen to be watching with someone who has absolutely no idea what a sabre line is, consider this their introduction to the wonderfully weird world of competitive marching band.

A Little Grand Nationals Fun
One of my favorite things about Bands of America Grand Nationals is seeing the incredible creativity that students, directors, and designers bring to the field.
The performances are extraordinary. The talent is unbelievable. And the amount of work that goes into those few minutes on the field is something I never take for granted.
This bingo game is simply a lighthearted way to celebrate some of the little things that make our activity so unique.
And after more than three decades in the marching arts, I can promise you one thing: just when you think you’ve seen everything, somebody will find a way to surprise you.
So download your cards, find your favorite people, and get ready for an incredible weekend of marching band!
And if you get BINGO, I’d love to hear about it! Tag me on Instagram at @stephanieclick and share your winning card.
Happy Grand Nationals, everyone!
