Meet my friend, Staci … Everyone say “hello” …

Staci works with my husband and has been a longtime friend. Poor soul, she was my tour guide while Don was interviewing for his job. Looking back, I can only imagine the agony of trying to decide who was going to “entertain” this said-interviewees wife. Yuck. But, Staci would never have let me know that … she was wonderful and I had a ball 🙂
In three short years, she’s married and had her first baby. (Remind me to write a post about how I was ALMOST there for the start of her labor!) Her world is totally different than the carefree girl I met years ago, but one things the same – she’s got an awesome sense of style and she knows how to look good.
So, when Staci told me that she was a new representative for Avon, I knew that this wasn’t the Avon that I tried years ago. Every now and then I would try a new lipstick or gloss from them, but I hadn’t really looked much at the entire line. Imagine my surprise when I couldn’t put the catalog down!!!
Staci and I have made a deal. I’ll be trying/reviewing Avon products. I’m a hard face to sell on (insert jokes here). Make-up doesn’t stay on my face for long periods of time. I have combination skin. I’m a little picky about how things go on. So, believe me, if I put my stamp on it … it’s definitely worked out for me and I hope you’ll give it a try.
First product I tried was …. SuperFULL Mascara. Retail Price – $8.50.
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the straight applicator. I’ve used a curved one for years. Well, who knew? It was so much easier. I was able to really get every section of my lashes and because it’s not a super thick applicator – I felt like I had more control putting it on! Better than that, this mascara is still on my eyes at night … miracle. I use my regular eye makeup remover and it comes right off. No scrubbing. It’s very lightweight and has not clumped at all … even when I’ve used a little more than I should have.
