Planning school lunches and our family dinners makes my life so much easier. Committing to do it each week is a challenge, but it really … REALLY … keeps chaos from happening twice in one day.
I know that many of you are interested in school lunches and many are interested in dinners. I’ve decided that I’ll just post both in the same post from here on! It keeps me accountable and hopefully, will help you find a great recipe!
Monday: Turkey and Cheese sandwich, chips (first time this school year), and pears
Tuesday: Tuna and crackers, fresh pineapple, and a side salad
Wednesday: Mac and cheese with sliced hotdog, yogurt and granola
Thursday: Chef Salad (lettuce, egg, carrots, cheese, cranberries, almonds, and croutons)
Friday: Turkey and cheese sandwich, hardboiled egg, goldfish, and mandarin oranges
DINNER –
Monday: Ziti with meat sauce and Texas garlic toast
Tuesday: Crockpot Italian Chicken (Crockpot)
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak (Crockpot)
Thursday: Red Beans and Rice (I use the boxed Red Beans & Rice mix from Zatarain’s, then add sausage. Or at least that’s what I’m doing this time! Hopefully it turns out well.)
Friday: Taco Bar
Saturday: Every one in this house has an activity at a different place at a different time!
