I love the coupons that you get in the summer time. It seems that my mailbox (the postal one, not email) has a couple of coupon flyers and post cards nearly every day. Restaurants, clothing retailers, drug stores, and groceries all get in on the bargain action.
My problem comes in the fact that I take these coupons inside and don’t have them with me when I’m out to eat or at the mall. I always remember that I have them when it’s too late!
Sound familiar?
The way that I’ve managed to “break the cycle” is to sort the coupons out of the mail while I’m in my car at the mailbox. Yes, right there before driving away.
I have two envelopes that I keep in my console. (Add more if you need too.) For me, I have one marked restaurants/groceries and another marked retail. I sort the coupons into the appropriate envelope and put them back in the console.
Problem solved.
€¦ remember, there’s no cents in paying full price! Put those loose coupons somewhere smart!
