It’s at times like these that I have to have faith that God will judge those who have taken innocent lives and that He will comfort those affected in a supernatural way.

I don’t understand the “why” or the “why not” in instances like this … and I am ok with that, but I do cling to scriptures that tell me that things will move forward.

“Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.”  Psalm 30:5

Today, I’m thankful for first responders, for teachers who shielded children from bullets and from the truth of what was happening, and for those that will assist and help the families that are heartbroken during this time of loss.

Most of all, I will pray without ceasing that we never hear news like this again.
