I love flash deals and my favorite site for Houston deals is Juice in the City. Today, JITC is teaming up with the Snowdrop Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting patients and families at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. The foundation provides funding for continued research to eliminate childhood cancer and scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and survivors. It is a worthy cause and today, you can contribute to the Snowdrop Foundation when you buy the deal from Juice in the City! JITC will give 20% of the proceeds to the charity.
So, what do you have to buy?
Today’s deal is an awesome $10 admission to the Splashway Waterpark in Sheridan. Sheridan is west of Houston. According to GoogleMaps, it’s 80 minutes from Katy. Closer (and I’m sure) less crowded than the Galveston waterparks, I can’t wait to try this out!
Splashway has a wave pool and slides for the big kids. There’s a Pirate’s Kiddie Cove and Minnow pond for the small kids. This year, they are adding 2 body speed slides and 1 free fall slide. (Right up my alley!!!) They also have a lazy river … if we ever win the lotto, my son has asked for is a lazy river at our house 🙂 This place is calling our name.
Now, the fine print:
- The deal is $10 (a 50% savings) for 1 admission ticket. If your child is under 32″, you’ll want to buy a ticket at the gate (or online). But everyone else in the family will see a HUGE savings with this deal. (We’re buying 4.)
- You have until November 12 to use the savings certificate which is awesome – no need to make a special trip. You’ve got all summer!
- The deal is good on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
