Here are the results of my shopping trip tonight. This was my first time to hit Kroger for a full trip since they ended our double/triple coupons. Without a mega-event (additional savings), I consider saving anything above 50% a good trip.

You’ll see lots of boxed foods here. This time of year is super busy for us, so I make a lot of semi-homemade meals.  After working  40+ hours, commuting home, & taking a child to whatever activity is happening that night, it’s nice to take a boxed meal and add fresh vegetables to it to freshen it up and add some nutritional value. Quick and easy is the name of the game for me until school is out.
