Project Life is a memory system created by Becky Higgins. It has completely changed the way that I scrapbook the everyday things. This is my fourth year to follow the system where I take a photo each day, although the Project Life program is set up where you can succeed a variety of ways! Whatever works for you is perfectly ok.

I’ve posted periodically our pictures and have decided to do so again. I am completely caught up on my photos and editing, but for privacy sake – I’m going to post them online a few weeks after the fact.

Project Life materials are available at Amazon.com, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Archivers, as well as a few other select craft stores.

I use the planning sheets from HelloForever to plan my weeks. This week I’m using Design A for the week, and Design D for the special “Miss Texas pageant insert”.

This is a special Miss Texas insert since we went to the pageant on September 1. Here are my planning pages and then a (really rough poor) digital mock-up of how it will look when I’m done!

Here is our week:

Project Life: Sept 1-7My precious friend gave Piper a ticket to the Miss Texas pageant. (If you missed that post, you’ll want to read it here.) I was able to drive her down and then view the pageant in an adjacent room. We had a ball. Here is the new Miss Texas Lauren Guzman and her runners-up.

Project Life: Sept 1-7

A familiar nightly sight – homework on the laptop. Research is a nightly thing. Thankfully, Avery loves to learn and absorbs every morsel of knowledge.

Project Life: Sept 1-7

I am a lunch/dinner/snack packing ninja! Between the kid’s lunch and Piper’s dance snacks (and sometimes dinner), I’m living in lunch boxes and ice packs!

This is a great post that I was tagged in on Instagram. JShultz817 is Miss Dallas — one of Piper’s top 2 picks for the Miss Texas crown. We’re rooting for her in 2015 🙂

Project Life: Sept 1-7

Piper and her friend were desperate to see their other teammate during a closed private lesson. These little dancers are so funny. Sometimes I just have to look away and laugh!PL-sept 7

I was greeted to breakfast in bed by Piper, Avery and Piper’s BFF. Toast, yogurt with fresh berries, and a flower from the garden. I love those kids!
