Today, I had another great opportunity to share tips on KSBJ during the Joey K Midday show.

If you missed the segment or need further information, here are the tips that I shared:

1) HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO: Wednesday, March 17 is Value Day. Gary Allan is in concert. You can purchase a concert ticket for $10. Admission into the park is just $5 with kids under 12 and seniors (60 and older) FREE. There are meals that will be on sale with selected vendors, as well. Don’t miss out on one of the coolest things that Houston has to offer.

2) MARSH MADNESS at Brazos Bend State Park: March 13-21. This cool week of snakes, bees, owls, story time, and the famous American Alligator is completely FREE. Times and a schedule of activities is available on the Brazos Bend website.

This one didn’t get featured by I strongly recommend considering it.

3) A Houston City Pass: Enjoy the best museums and attractions that Houston has to offer for one low price. This adult ticket, when sold at regular price, is $75. Now, it is on sale for $39/adult or $29/child. You have 9 days to use the pass and this is what you get … admission to:

  • Space Center Houston
  • Downtown Aquarium
  • Museum of Natural Science
  • Houston Zoo
  • Museum of Fine Arts or Houston Children’s Museum
  • George Ranch Historical Park or Houston Health Museum

My other suggestion would be to call the places that you already enjoy as a family. Do you love bowling, or painting, or arcades? Ask for their Spring Break discounts and activities. Most businesses are sure to offer something during this busy time of year.

Enjoy your family and enjoy saving money in the process!
